Meet the Dentist

Dr. Vlad Deresciuc hails from Moldova, a picturesque country at the crossroads of Eastern and Western Europe. He holds dental degrees from both Europe and the United States, having graduated from the prestigious University of Pennsylvania, an Ivy League institution. With over 20 years of experience, Dr. Vlad is a highly skilled clinician dedicated to mastering the latest advancements in periodontics, implant surgery, and interdisciplinary dental treatment planning. In addition to a two-year General Dentistry Residency, he specialized in Periodontology and proudly maintains his status as a Board-certified diplomate.

Dr. Vlad has shared his expertise through lectures both locally and internationally and has been published in esteemed peer-reviewed journals.

Throughout his career, Dr. Vlad has participated in numerous overseas volunteer missions with Health Volunteers Overseas, an organization focused on providing education and medical care to orphanages and underserved communities.

Fluent in English, Russian, Romanian, and Ukrainian, Dr. Vlad is a versatile communicator.

In his free time, he enjoys reading, spending time outdoors with his wife, three sons, and their cocker spaniel, Ovi. A music enthusiast, Dr. Vlad has formal training in classical guitar and enjoys playing music.

Dr. Vlad and his family have fallen in love with the beauty of Asheville and are thrilled to call it home. His wife, a physician at Pardee Hospital, and Dr. Vlad are eager to become active members of the community and build lasting relationships.
